Habitat for Humanity is building 8 duplexes along Canyon Road in the Sienna community in Fort Saskatchewan. Individuals and groups are welcome. Shifts are daily Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. All volunteers receive an onsite safety orientation and training. No minimum number of shifts required. Beginners are welcome! Volunteer assistance is appreciated in the hospital Gift Shop. Time commitment: 3 hour shift (1-4 pm) any day Monday to Friday or noon to 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Gift Shop Attendants are part of the Hospital Auxiliary.
This is an opportunity to provide regular social support to isolated seniors to help them remain connected to their community. Time Commitment: a minimum of one hour per week for a minimum of six month.

In 2016, the Volunteer Centre’s survey tracked more than 138,000 volunteer hours in the Fort. The monetary value of these hours is approximately $3.5 million dollars! Fort Saskatchewan has Volunteer Spirit!
