Hospital Auxiliary

The Hospital Auxiliary meeting is the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the hospital board room. Hospital Auxiliary volunteers assist with various tasks with patient care and also help with the Hospital Gift Shop.

Board Members - Volunteer Programs Association (VPA)

The VPA oversees three programs, the Victim Services Unit, the Restorative Justice Program and the Volunteer Centre.

Share your time and expertise as a VPA Board Member. Time Commitment: monthly meetings (second Tuesday of the month) 

Habitat for Humanity is recruiting volunteers for Fort Saskatchewan

Habitat for Humanity is building 8 duplexes along Canyon Road in the Sienna community in Fort Saskatchewan. Individuals and groups are welcome. Shifts are daily Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. All volunteers receive an onsite safety orientation and training. No minimum number of shifts required. Beginners are welcome! Special Transportation Services Society (STSS)

Special Transportation Services Society (STSS) is a group of dedicated community volunteers who oversee the operation of the Subsidized Transportation Services.

The Board oversees Driving Miss Daisy and the Handivan Program. Other activities of the Board include fundraising for a new van, decision making with the screening process and more. Time commitment: Meetings are the third Tuesday of the month 9:30 am - 11:00 am


Community Hospital - Gift Shop Attendant

Volunteer assistance is appreciated in the hospital Gift Shop. Time commitment: 3 hour shift (1-4 pm) any day Monday to Friday or noon to 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Gift Shop Attendants are part of the Hospital Auxiliary.
