Participate in the Canada Day celebrations, we could use your help with this event. Be a Barricade Monitor for the parade or at Legacy Park help with other activities like the Petting zoo, Balloon twisting, Face painting, Carnival games, Entertainment and more.
The Hospital Auxiliary meeting is the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the hospital board room. Hospital Auxiliary volunteers assist with various tasks with patient care and also help with the Hospital Gift Shop.
The Whipper Snipper program will soon be underway. This is a volunteer service program where individuals, organizations, businesses, families and groups of youth can commit to assist seniors with yard work.
The VPA oversees three programs, the Victim Services Unit, the Restorative Justice Program and the Volunteer Centre.

Join in the fun and excitement of helping at the Legacy Park Family Festival on June 3. There are many volunteer opportunities from helping with Set-up, the Petting zoo, Information both, barricade Monitors and more. Your assistance at the Fun Run would also be appreciated!
Special Transportation Services Society (STSS) is a group of dedicated community volunteers who oversee the operation of the Subsidized Transportation Services.
The Board oversees Driving Miss Daisy and the Handivan Program. Other activities of the Board include fundraising for a new van, decision making with the screening process and more. Time commitment: Meetings are the third Tuesday of the month 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Volunteer assistance is appreciated in the hospital Gift Shop. Time commitment: 3 hour shift (1-4 pm) any day Monday to Friday or noon to 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Gift Shop Attendants are part of the Hospital Auxiliary.
