The Volunteer Centre of Fort Saskatchewan has been established in our community for 27 plus years and is funded by Family & Community Support Services. The Volunteer Centre is under the umbrella of the Volunteer Programs Association which is a non-profit registered society with a charitable tax number.
Connecting to our community, we:
- Engage and refer volunteers to community organizations
- Organize National Volunteer Week activities and other events
- Co-sponsor volunteer leadership development workshops
- Provide consultation to community organizations in the in the area of Volunteer Program Management

To encourage volunteerism by offering opportunities for individuals and families to share and enhance their skills in partnership with agencies and organizations to strengthen our community
